Formation of Group

The way the groups was formed was done in an interesting way. 5 group leaders are selected based on the idea that they post on a real time board. The top 5 ideas with the most votes, the person will be selected to be a group leader. I put a quick summary of my idea, which quickly got voted upwards and maintained amongst the top 5. Hence, I got selected as one of the Group Leader.

It was interesting how we selected our group members. Everybody aside from the group leaders are to write their skills like what programming languages that they are proficient in or experience etc. etc. Once it is done, I will have to select 3 or 4 people to be part of my group based on their skill set.

In the end, these people are in my group: Tristan, Benjamin, Gi Kei and Janine.

Planning out what to do next

Once selected, we decided to plan out our next course of action which was to focus on developing the idea rather than implementing the idea. As we realised that even if we manage to do our project properly by the time hackathon was over, our project may not stand out compared to the other groups, therefore, we prioritised on refining the idea
